As Princes of the Inca, they can try to collect points for an Inca victory and personal glory or else collect gold to prepare themselves for survival after a Spanish invasion. Players try to influence the outcome of the game to match their strategy - but often it remains unclear which side will rule the mountains until the game has almost finished.
